Our History
Cindy Frye is the owner and founder of Animal Crackers Pet Sitting. She has loved and cared for thousands of pets, has rescued strays off the streets and has found homes for many. Cindy has volunteered as a director for “Friends of Kern County Animal Shelters Foundation”, a non profit organization.
The Business was started in July of 2001. Cindy and her husband, Ken used pet sitters when they traveled in the past and felt that this was such a nice alternative to kennel boarding. Bakersfield kennel boarding will probably always be a necessity, but families have another option now with Animal Crackers Pet Sitting. Cindy knows that most dogs and cats would prefer the comfort of their own home and she loves providing the pet sitting service.
Over the last few years the business has become a popular choice among pet owners in Bakersfield. Once a family has used Animal Crackers they almost always become repeat customers as they realize that we genuinely provide excellent care for their pets and at a reasonable price.
Our Mission
We will provide exceptional pet sitting service for families in Bakersfield. We will provide pet care that includes providing food and water for the pets, taking them outside, playing with them and offering other home services such as bringing in the mail, the paper and watering the plants. All of this will be by loving, experienced pet handlers that are bonded.
Our Values
We will always be kind and caring with the pets that we serve. We will be dependable and communicate with the owner immediately if any issues arise. Owners will trust us implicitly as we will always be honest, compassionate and considerate in all that we do.
